It is amazing to travel to see this structure is not only a house is the first prefabricated structure that came to South America, really think that that house travel thousands of miles to be here is fabulous

It's in all tourism guide books... This is an old place, very classic. It used to be a restaurant in the 2nd floor there, but not anymore. Just in a corner of the main square, It is one of the principal attractions in the city.

The story is that it was designed by George Eiffel. Made of left over pieces from the Eiffel Tower, and shipped to Iquitos by mistake. It has an arts and crafts type shop, and a Pharmacy.

Eiffel's house is located just off the main square and is worth stopping by to see for a few minutes, perhaps with an ice cream in hand.
