The Costa Verde area is one of the most characteristic spots of the city. A lot of surfers prefer these rocky beaches and offer a nice "show". There you can find some nice restaurants.

The Costa Verde is a 6 lane divided highway that runs along the water below the cliff. During most of the day it is full of beaping traffic. Not scenic - stay on top of the cliff - Miraflores Boardwalk.

Although it is a huge highway type of road, it is really worth to take. One of the nicest places to see the sun sinking into the endless see

Enjoy an escape from busy Lima by walking along the Costa Verde. Stop to have an ice cream and watch the paragliders. Sit on a park bench to soak in some sun and observe the locals.

We were taken on a tour past the beach road, as it was raining at the time and not pleasant enough to get out and check the beach. We had heard it was very popular though. Next time.

One of the most beautiful places of Lima. All the "malecon" is made of little parks. Crowded by people with families and pets on weekends. Wonderful place !
