Lots of shops in this area. Beautiful buildings and a popular gathering spot. Have lunch and people watch or check out some of the stores along the walk.

This plaza was the centre of the old city thus it contains the Bascilica, Government Palace. The changing of the guards is something to witness.

Well you could be in Spain or Europe where you see such plazas all the time. Nice neat but I cannot say beautiful.

Always abuzz with people, the green space and fountains clearly an attraction for Tourists and Locals alike, Lima's Central Square is worth a look for those visiting nearby Churches, though the stores unfortunately seem pretty Americanized.

Beautiful square with shops and restaurants all around. There is also the ‘birthplace’ of the Pisco Sour in the main square. Great spot to walk around and take in the sights of Lima.

Right in the centre of town this is definitely a place to visit. There is a bit of hustle and bustle but the buildings are beautiful and is great to stroll around the plaza.

As far as I know, it does at noon. However, do check with your hotel in advance, just in case. BTW, just got this enquiry despite your posting it 2 weeks ago. Hope you enjoy your trip to Lima
