Beautiful church. Catacombs were very interesting to see. The bones displayed were done by archeologists but very well preserved. Be careful walking as the floors are very uneven and the ceilings low. The wooden ceilings were amazing. Done in a Moorish style the were installed...More

This convent and museum is a good place for tourists, especially if they are interested in Peruvian history. The have catacombs in the underground area if one is interested in seeing this.

It's a good place but it cost 10 soles (Perú coins) to go in ... you also need to wait because there's always bunch of people waiting

Beautiful church with interesting catacombs. The ceilings have a Moorish influence and the library is absolutely awe-inspiring (with authentic ancient books). This site was better than I expected and definitely worth a visit.

So worth the 10 soles that also gives you a guide in your language of choice. Tour was about 1 hour and the catacombs were interesting.

The church hours are different from the museum hours - the church is open between 7 and 11 am and between 4 and 8 pm. This info comes from the Services tab on their website. I don't know if they say mass during these times... More

you just need to take a taxi from your hotel to the church. the tour is around $3 to $4. there are english speaking and spanish speaking docents who are with the tour.
