It's an interesting place if you have done some local tourism already. Very nice pictures, and a very emotional Room devoted to Princess Diana.

It's only a small museum but it is very cleverly put together and the explanation that goes with each set of photographs opened up a world that a photographer sees that we don't! For me the lasting memory will be the Princess Diana experience - a small room with his photographs of her - gave me goosebumps!

The first thing that struck me about the photographs was that many of them were so familiar, this one photographer has done them all, it's a very interesting museum to visit, and is well worth a visit!

It's a rather small exhibit, but absolutely worth it. In Barranco, the bohemian Lima neighborhood, it showcases Mario Testino's amazing career. Plus you get to see the Inca project and Princess Diana's dress.

Testino was a photographer who moved around in high society circles in the western world. There are pictures here of celebrities, some rather naughty, and a room dedicated to casual pictures of Princess Diana

Most of the rooms were of Testino's fashion or celebrity photos, okay if this is of interest. I enjoyed the Alta Moda series which shows the heritage and Peruvian culture with an.exhibition of Cusco performer's photos, they were posed rather than live action. Also enjoyed the Princess Diana photos. Some of the rooms listed on the brochure were not open... More

Not a big museum but packs a lot in. The photography is brilliant, slide show impressive, the Diana exhibit sad and the Cusco exhibition has brilliant colors.

We were down in Barranco for a morning coffee and stroll and decided to visit MATE. We were so glad we did! Such a worthwhile experience. Stunning photography. Mario Testino is a genius. Do go visit and support this non-for-profit photography exhibition :-)
