- Scott GLos Angeles, California486 contributionsMy favorite place in LimaA beautiful park, the mosaics and the lovers statue are true works of art. Plus the wall with lovers locks is very cool. I was lucky enough to be here on a sunny day in early September and it was beautiful. I live in Los Angeles and now I wish we had mosaic walls at all of our beaches! Weird quirk: you can't actually get down to the beach from here, you're on cliffs overlooking it. To actually get down to the water you have to walk about 15 minutes to another district and take a path that goes right alongside a freeway. This was my favorite spot in Lima, highly recommended.Visited September 2022Written January 14, 2023

It is well worth half an hour of your time in Lima as you not only get some great photo opportunities but you get some wonderful panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Don't forget to get a kiss in front of El Beso and maybe fix a lovelock to the wall with your significant other. Keep your eyes peeled for the paragliders jumping off the nearby clifftops.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten July 21, 2023
- TheExplorerFamilySomerset, New Jersey6,451 contributionsBeautiful Park Overlooking the Bay and the OceanThis is a fairly small Park in the Miraflores area. It is in the center of the six-mile pedestrian walkway overlooking the cliffs. It is dedicated to Lima’s lovers, and provides jaw-dropping views of the Bay of Lima and the Pacific Ocean from high up. It was designated by National Geographic as one of the most romantic places in the world. The Park takes its inspiration from Gaudi’s Guell Park in Barcelona – the tiled mosaic walls are eerily similar. The walls and the window holes in them provided us with some wonderful photo ops – especially at Sunset. In the center, there is a large sculpture named “The Kiss” (El Beso). It was created by the famous Peruvian sculptor Victor Delfin, who has used himself and his wife as the subjects. We were here in the morning walking around, as well as at sunset, and were happy to capture some amazing photos – especially as the sun set in the center of the “windows” in the walls. The para-gliders jumping off the cliffs created some nice silhouettes against the orange sunset. Absolutely worth a visit. It was one of our favorite spots. We just fell in love with the views.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten October 6, 2023

Loved it. Loved the purpose of the park and the story behind the El Beso sculpture. The park isn’t that big and is reminiscent of Park Guell in Barcelona. The star is El Beso. Be ready for pictures of couples - which I love and don’t find cheesy! I took a picture of a couple who immediately copied the pose upon me suggesting it.

Its a medium-sized park, part of the clifftop gardens of Miraflores. It is full of mosaics and sculptures with a love theme - very similar to Gaudi's parc Guell in Barcelona. Its nice and popular with locals although positioning yourself for a perfect selfie standing on any of the sculptures will earn you a 'whistling' and a talking-to from the police!

Gaudi style mosaics against views of the Pacific Ocean. Gorgeous. Cafe shop nearby makes it a great place to spend some time to forget about all that Peru traffic.

I enjoyed coming to this park high above the ocean. You could watch wind gliders on the high cliffs swooping up and down and there is a famous statue in the park along with a mosaic wall themed after the name of the park. It is a lovely place that is worth a visit.
