A very well restored historic landmark in downtown Lima, which also shows one of the many things Chile and Peru have in common, beyond their past differences. Home of Bernardo O´Higgins, fouding father of Chile and great contributor to Peru´s independent movement, shows a piece of history and how life was in the mid 1800.
Worth stopping by and have a look, don´t forget to read what is on display, very interesting and you can find everything in Spanish and English

We saw an interesting exhibit about costumes today. It is interesting to see inside an old house of the rich from a long t8me Agra’s well as enjoying the exhibit for free. Worth popping in for a look as you pass by.

This museum does not charge and that's probably wise. It's a small hacienda in the middle of Lima, with fairly sparse decor and exhibits. It's good to look inside and see what's on offer, but there's little of consequence and it's mainly easily missable.

This is a small museum in the house of Bernardo O'Higgins, an unlikely name for an independence era hero. It has a few interesting exhibits, though the golliwog getup for the black slave dress is unsettling.
