A fantastic town! Visit before too many people find it. I walked to the ruins and back, which was tiring, but the views are fantastic, really worth it. There's a fun market in Pisac and a range of places to eat from cheap local eats,...More

Worth visiting for the views alone. Apart from that this is a very educational experience. I always thought the primary purpose of the mountainside terraces was for farming when it reality was to stabilize the mountains. It is amazing to ponder how the Incan people...More

Beautiful site full of history and natural beauty. Hiking here was great as was visiting the nearby villages. Get a local guide to make the most of your experience.

This was our first stop after the town of Cusco and were not disappointed. A lovely hike to the top, you can visit a town hanging off the mountain over the terraces. Well preserved - definitely recommend a visit.

Set in the hills above Pisac town, the village ruins are a fine example of Incan architecture blending into the surrounding landscape. Do walk all the way up for stunning scenery and great photos. See my other review on Pisac market before going there.

Wonderful views from here of the terracing along the mountains down into the valley. Also don't miss the holes in the cliffs which are graves that have been robbed.

The Undertakers Ruins provide interesting insight into the Incan culture. Where the ruins are where burial rights were performed, the actual burial sites are all across the mountains easily viewable from the ruins. The Ruins are atop a significant hill that took a bit to...More
