This palce is on the way if you go by bus/car from Cusco to Titikaka lake. The inside is beautiful, but it is enough with 20 min to see it all.

Arrived during the towns anniversary, so there were lots of festivities going on, and the people are very welcoming for you to join in.

Set on the side of the square this red sandstone church was completed in 1866 so it is quite new compared to some of the buildings we have been seeing!!

Nice church worth a visit if you are in town, it sits in a lovely leafy plaza where you can grab an ice cream or drink.

This is quite a standard typical church from the Peruvian Andean region. The architechture is nice and it has some art. If you really like religious art, you should try the Cusco Cathedral and/or Andahuaylillas.

A nice old church situated in the Plaza de Armas in the town centre of Urubamba. The plaza was not big, but worth visiting or take a walk. Very amicable environment. We didn't go in as we were in a hurry getting someting at the market nearby. (The market is right beside the iglesia, also worth visiting to buy some local stuff)

Its is incredible how these little towns managed to build these amazing churches. We visited ( and said a quick prayer) while staying over night at local monestary. A celebration went most of the night with parades, bands, singing and fireworks.

The Tall Green Door attracted me to this church located in the center of the Main Square (Plaza de Armas - Urubamba). Gorgeous stautes and alter. Great Photo Op!

Even though the church was not open when I visited, the outside was very nice. There's a wonderful park in front of the church and we were lucky to run into a festival on one of the side streets.
