BODEGA SPINOGLIO | A WINELAND TO DISCOVER GUIDE VISITS-WINE TASTINGS-RESTAURANT The experience of visiting this this family winery will be unique for your senses. Exceptionel surrounding where you´ll be able to connect with nature, enjoying the vineyards and more than 6000 m² of park. You will be able to visit te XIX century built cellar, with its awesome arquitecture and the seal of French craftmen, which is now enhanced with technology to help produce high quality wines. Lying underground, the impressive CAVA with its solid stone walls and natural control of temperature and humidity, has the ideal conditions to grow our wines. Our RESTAURANT MonfrA (which in Piedmontese means Monferrato) offer a unique gourmet experience in an exceptional place, where family celebrations and lunches were held. In this way we honor our history by recalling the culinary traditions of the family, with the wood fire, the fresh ingredients of the garden and the love in the preparation of each dish.

    Excellent experience. I recommend it 100%
    The wine tasting at the Spinoglio winery was incredible. From the transfer that picked us up exactly at the scheduled time, the explanations of each wine, visits to the facilities and vineyards, and the entire experience involved. The team is very welcoming and polite. The experience was really worth it.

    A WOW Experience
    Want to learn about view making? Want to eat delicious snacks? Want to sample wonderful wines? Want to see beautiful vista? Want to be entertained by Tango Dancers, locals drumming and dancing, like you've never seen before? I visited here as an excursion thru a cruise I did. What a fantastic few hours. The Vineyards are spectacular. The staff knowledgeable and polite. a WOW experience.

    Wine Tasting
    The tour was lovely and very informative. Very easy to organize via WhatsApp. They have guides in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The wine tasting came with cheese, meat and bread and was very affordable for the wineries in the area.

Dreamy Bodega day.

Lovely family winery with totally engaged staff. We participated in a cooking lesson followed by a wonderful lunch featuring their beautiful Sauvignon and Tannat wines and traditional Uruguayan lunch.The owner Alexandra was our lovely host all day and communicated with our group in English, Spanish , Italian and even in French with my spouse. Highly recommended for a true Bodega experience.

What an absolutely lovely experience. The meat...the wine...the host. We were lucky to be hosted by the wife of the owner. It is a family business run with care and amazing service and hospitality. You don't want to miss it.

Amazing visit to a great winery

We had an amazing visit to Spinoglio, and Cecilia was instrumental in making our day so great. The wines were delicious and mini charcuterie boards included with the tastings were the best I've seen of any winery I've ever been to. We had a visit scheduled to another winery and couldn't find an Uber from Spinoglio, and Cecilia saved the day by finding us private transportation to take us to our next spot. I wish we could have spent more time at Spinoglio, and I'd love to go back!

A must do when visiting Montevideo. The food, wine, entertainment top notch. It's a family owned winery. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We need more time!!!

We had a short but amazing experience. We had to cancelled the lunch because we were leaving earlier, but we couldn't leave without taste the wines. The wines are excellent.
The place is beautiful. All the winery people treat us as we were at home.
We will be back soon.

Excellent day out

A great day out combining wine, food and a beautiful environment. We did a tour of the winery and a workshop to blend our own wine. This was followed by an asado lunch and then we got a bottle of our blended wine to leave with as a great takeaway.

An awesome wine tasting experience at Bodega Spinoglio, thanks to Cecilia!!

We would like to share our awesome experience at Bodega Spinoglio last month; where we were met by the wonderful and knowledgable Cecilia who welcomed us to the winery and walked us through the fine wine tasting lunch. We were very impressed with her extensive knowledge of the winemaking process and viticulture, and very interested to learn about the history of the bodega. The wine tasting lunch was delicious as were the quality wine selections; so much so that we purchased several bottles to bring back to Canada. And we were so impressed wirh Cecilia, that we return for a second visit!

We highly recommend visiting this winery as part of the Uruguayan wine tasting experience.

Muchas gracias Cecilia, for being such a delightful and knowledgeable host and making our wine tasting experience in Uruguay, so enjoyable!

Wine Tasting with romantic music and Tango performers

Our tour group stopped at Bodega Spinoglio during our visit to Uruguay. After a short bus ride from Montevideo city center, we found ourselves on a quiet country side similar to Napa CA. Upon arriving at the winery, our hosts offered us several wine varieties to sample along with a short walk to the vineyard for an instructional and informative talk. After that, we were taken into the winery where a beautiful young lady in a period costume, sang Latin songs with an equally beautiful voice. We followed her to a main dining/wine tasting area. There, tables were set up for us along with more wine and delicious foods. As we enjoyed the wine and food, two couples danced the Tango for us. A fantastic stop off our journey and well worth it. A must experience.
