The building itself is beautiful, though honestly not quite enough of an attraction on its own to make it worth the trip. It is, however, a perfect stop on a Sunday in MVD. Hit the Tristán Narvaja Street Market first, then the Espacio de Arte...More

If you love meat this is your place to be, lots of restaurants to chose from inside the old building, all with the meat cooking on a BBQ grill so you can see your food being cooked. We didn’t eat here as we ran out...More

This market offers a window into the city and its culture. So many restaurants inside that offer different flavors of cuisines. We really enjoyed the grass feed steak and lamb over open grill.

The mercado agrícola used to be the old fruit and veg central place. The lovely structure remains and you can find anything you need. Ideal for a different shopping experience.

This is a historic place that was abandoned for years. Now, it had a complete restoraiation, and is a "must see" for all visitors. It still keeps the flavour of a market, plus nice places to eat and buy. The architecture of the building is...More

We thought we will hit a local authentic fruit and veg market but we were wrong. It is another one of those modernized air-conditioned places. The original building is magnificently renovated and the place is clean and inviting. The prices of fruits and veges are...More
