Kia Orana, I believe that this review is incorrectly posted. This page is for Beachcomber Pearl Market which is the pearl store in the front of the cafe you mention. The 2 businesses are unrelated. I would appreciate if you could remove the review from...More

A nice upscale pearl & art gallery. The pieces and designs that are sold here are mostly crafted in New Zealand but are proprietary to this specific market. This was definitely the best place on the island to find items to bring home. In fact,...More

I bought a custom-made hand-selected black pearl earrings and necklace from here. The ladies here will help you to select from a variety of pearls they have in store. A great souvenir to take home!

We stopped by for a coffee. The coffee, cakes and snacks were great. Best of all was the Vinyl Revival Club. A record player and loads of excellent LPs to listen to while you ate. Wonderful place! The cafe owners run revival discos, locally.

The concept of picking out your own pearl to be put in your chosen setting is intriguing. Problem was that I was charged 2.5 times more for the setting than another more reputable jewelry store in town sold the exact same setting. I was able...More

The beachcomber is a large pearl shop/market. For me it is a unique buying experience. I like the fact that you can buy the exact pearl that speaks to you whether flashy and expensive and more economical and unique. The next step is to pick...More
