This was the one place we wanted to see in Nadi during our cruise and it met all our expectations and more. Architecturally stunning and colourful. this temple is the master peice of the many temples around fiji as it its on one end of the Nadi town with hand drown photos telling the accent history of Indian religion. the temple managed by the south Indian society is open to anybody who wants to offer prayers but for tourist you may be charged to a fully... We went to the biggest Hindu temple in fiji, this was organised with a local taxi driver who was taking us into Nadi to get some money changed. He suggested (as they all do) that we should see the temple and although we knew this was a common tourist trap we agreed as we wanted to check it out anyway.... More

Visitors have to wear respectable clothing, ladies with pants or dresses below the knees and gents have to have long pants. If you don't you will be provided a "dhoti" or Indian men's sarong. While we were there, this nice gentleman appointed himself our guide. He explained the history of the temple and the deities it showcased. He told stories... More

If you are on Nadi drop in and have a tour of temple..currently about to be repainted. Only require 30 minutes to loo arou d znd be informed of the Hindu religion.

Beautiful temple- loved the temple. I would highly recommend it to everyone :-) The actual excursion is quote short but totally worth it.

On our morning in Nadi my partner and I visited the temple and both agree it is most definitely worth the visit and the $5 FJD entry fee. We visited while the locals were in a period of 10 days of worship so weren't allowed inside but were allowed on the grounds around the temple. The temple is truly beautiful... More
