I spent my layover at the garden of the sleeping giant. It was a short trip from the Nadi airport and a beautiful place to sit back and read a book. Highly recommend 1-2 hours here!

For orchid fans, this is a real treat. But we were a bit underwhelmed by the welcome on arrival. No offer of a tour or explanation. Staff at the desk seemed grumpy. Nice walk through some pretty scenery, but skipable for all but orchid lovers.

Nice orchids as you enter the gardens. Mostly a very nicely landscaped property over a botanical garden.

Not very easy to find if you come with your own car (maps.me was very useful to find the road to take as there is no indication on the main road). 1 hour nice walk in a very well maintained garden. Cool even if hot...More

I felt the the orchid garden was somewhat overrated. The orchids were pretty and i liked the tress hugger sculptures made with umbrellas for skirts. And it was nice to be offered a delicious papaya drink at the end of quite a walk. Pleasant but...More

A must see for nature lovers. A great place to cool down for a couple hours on a hot day. Flowers and gardens are amazing.

Visited the garden on a bus tour and it's absolutely beautiful, so many lovely flowers that I'd never seen before and a frat walk though all the trees

Beautiful gardens and nature walk. The orchids were fantastic. The guide was friendly and polite, and I really enjoyed the tropical juice at the end.

The gardens are beautiful and worth a look around for up to an hour. The drinks were refreshing. The staff were pleasant but missing the warmth you experience elsewhere in Fiji

I don't think paying in Aus or US dollars is an option nor do I think it is a good idea. You are sure to get ripped off. Taxi fares are cheap around $7 each way. Just take some Fiji dollars or exchange your other currency... More
