Lovely little museum this, and well worth the FJD10 per adult entrance fee. It’s not huge, but it’s a well-presented stroll through Fiji’s fascinating history.

Hidden away at the back of the gardens. The museum itself it small and can easily be seen in a hour. I liked the super simple explanations rather than huge amounts of reading.

If you know nothing on Fiji history, this is definitely the place to visit. Plenty of artifacts, and truly interesting (although full of blood and wars) history of the Islands, including the years as British colony covered here. I enjoyed especially the items related to...More

Beautiful grounds; a lovely break from busy Suva city. Some stunning artifacts and intriguing stories in the museum. Definitely recommend. Good for kids too.

Read Wikipedia instead, this place is as interesting as the holes in your underwear. Not much to see and not interactive.

Visiting the museum is a crash course on all things Fijian. The location of the museum is lovely. The museum building, displays, curatorship could be sharper and more engaging. Some donor funding could do the trick to show case this invaluable facility better.

A great place to go to see fijis history. Small but very well maintained and has a coffeeshop once you finished and want to relax.
