An interesting history of the clock tower and how it was reworked with newer clocks, It is beautiful but the quantity of buildings surrounding it make it difficult to photograph.

This is just off the major square of the city and is a gem. It doesn't take long to walk around it and admire it. The whole ambiance of the area is very nice.

But almost hidden in a busy area made even busier due to building work opposite. Among a “car park” walking through I saw the clock tower. Missable from this direction

A charming but ordinary clock tower that you can see in all the ex Ottoman empire ruled countries in Europe. Well preserved though. You can climb up to see a view, which I didn't. Don't go out of your way to visit this. But of...More

Sorry to say, the day we were there was blistering hot. I think it would be nice to climb up to view the area, but we just couldn't that day

An average-looking clock tower. You can pay a little amount and climb to the top. I didn't. Since it is located in the central plaza you don't have to make a special trip to see this sight, and others.

We were the only ones to visit the tower on a weekday in June so we had time to enjoy the views at the top. It is not a particularly tall building but gives you a nice overview of the square and the roofs of...More

This old tower isn't particular big or beautiful, but it offers great views of the center of Tirana, including Skanderbeg Square. The stairs are steep and narrow, and there is a small entry fee, but it was worth the climb. The construction was started in...More
