The museum is well maintained and appeals to the imagination with personal and general stories from different perspectives. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks several languages. I would like to thank 'Amela' specifically for her hospitality, thanks!

This museum is full of many important historical artefacts regarding bosnian history in its formative period in the early nineties. Museum staff offers a plethora of very interesting information regarding war and aggression that lasted from 1992-1995. In my opinion this museum is a must visit for anyone who lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina and wants to know more from a objective perspective, even though it is very emotional and heartbreaking to see how difficult it has been for people who have been affected by this conflict! Museum staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, especially Amela who has been a great to talk to and from whom I got even more interesting information about history of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Surely, I will be back!

Museum is done well. Many artefacts but importantly also lots of text to read explaining the background, the causes of the tension etc. Manages to present the horror without creating a sense of ongoing hatred against the perpetrators

Incredibly heavy museum, but we’ll worth it. I spent 90 mins here, and probably only read half of what was there. Harrowing stories of survival. Several rooms to wind through. It’s a small budget museum but well done

This museum was a sobering look into the realities of the Bosnian war. There were plenty of artefacts, both personal and military with personal accounts from survivors. It was a very sobering but important visit to learn about the war and the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exhibition is shocking even if you've heard about this before. Hard to imagine that it happened and this museum is definitely a "must see" not just because of the history itself, but because everyone need to see and know about this and maybe it couldn't happen again in our and our chidren's future in any country of the world. Thank you for reminding the future.

Today we had an amazing experience here at the museum. The staff and founders were really helpful and kind, they provide us with information that helped us with our research. The museum it’s self was really interesting and a good thing experience. I would really recommend!

This is the third time that I have visited this museum over the last three years, and I learn something new everytime. I highly recommend anyone who is travelling to Sarajevo for holiday, business, or anything in between to visit this museum and gain a better understanding of everything that happened and how the every-day civilians were affected. A truly horrific part of history but one that cannot be forgotten, and one which the museum shows in a sensitive but relevant way.

We traveled with 3 friends. The price is 12km for students and 15km for adults. It does justice to its price. It is a big and full place inside. It tells about the period between 1992-95. Supported with pictures and videos. There are plenty of figures. You definitely feel the history. I definitely recommend you to go.
