After walking inside and exploring this gorgeous church walk outside the front and to the left side while looking at it to see where a few shells fell and exploded. Can't miss it while walking by and worth it to go inside and see this...More

It could really be called the centre of its town. A lot of people meet here and there is always a lot of activity going on. You will definitely come across it.

Katedrala Srca Isusova was steps away from our hotel in Sarajevo. There is no entrance fee, and we would have liked to have attended a mass; however, our schedule did not permit.

Cathedral is located in hear of Sarajevo. It's amazing to see that cathedral is still there after what happened in recent past.

It is a landmark in Sarajevo, being in the centre on a busy street and having a sculpture of the Pope John Paul outside. We went inside and it was a lovely building.

Like 7% of the inhabitants of Sarajevo are Roman Catholics. Nevertheless, a rather large and beautiful church, visited by Pope John Paul II. Sarajevo is truly the Jeruzalem of Europe.
