84 reviews
Save time by visiting many Herzegovina attractions in one day, from Konjic and its bridge over the Neretva to enchanting Mostar. Visit five distinct locations with cultural and historical significance, including the “four pearls” of Herzegovina, making more than two dozen stops in between. Leave the logistics to someone else and see much of what Herzegovina has to offer.

I loved this place and wanted to see it as soon as possible, so took the cable car tthe morning after I arrived. The station is easy to find and the track well signposted when you get to the top. It really is fascinating - snaking it's way through the woodland and across the mountain and seeming to go on for miles - it doesn't, but it seems like it. One can spend forever looking at the wonderful grafiti with all of its different themes - much of which can be understood, for art speaks in all languages. One feels alone yet connected at the same time - connected not only to the nature that surrounds you, but also to those who painted and drew these images, as well as those who hurtled down here on their sleighs and luges. I wouldn't be brave enough personally, and it must have been one hell of a spectacle. I for one am glad that the track has been preserved for future generations to see and adorn. It makes a wonderful introduction to the city, as the does the ride up.

Not only for the Olympics but also during the war the track played a significant role, so walking it down with the beautiful trees that surround the area makes it very nice. And yes at the very top before you enter the path you can have a beautiful view of the city.

If you are in the area, this is worth walking down old track. It is bad shape and has lots of interesting graffiti.

Not only does the bobsleigh track provide great views down onto Sarajevo, but it has since been decorated by talented young Bosnians who've brought a bit of flair to the rundown concrete track. Well worth a trip up here!

Our friends took us up here and we really enjoyed the scenery. It is amazing how the Olympics were hosted here in 1984 and how it's just an abandoned track now. Cool piece of history. Wear good footwear. We kept walking up and were rewarded with beautiful views of the city.
