This place is very interesting but best to be visited with a guide to give you a better understanding of the 3 year sarajevo seige & how the tunnel was built & used. Our guide through insider sarajevo was in the police force at the time of the war & used the tunnel at least twice a week so hearing... More

The history of this tunnel and it's connection with the siege of Sarajevo have been talked about many times over.......a visit here is well worth it however, to see history come to life. Perfect stop to do with a small group tour, it's an hour's stop that you won't forget. Most of the tunnel has collapsed so don't expect to... More

To understand the siege it is important to visit the war tunnels and see the films. I met a family who had traveled through this tunnel which made it all the more meaningful.

This visit is one of the most important ones. However, the lenght of the tunnel is not longer than 10 metres when the real one was 800m. Maybe this is a personal opinion, but I was expecting to travel the full tunnel

While slightly touristy, the tunnel affords a look into how both people and wares entered and left the city while under siege. Less than objective, it does not matter as the whole of the 1425 days is shown realistically

This is a place of respect for victims of an unneccesary war and rememberance of brave people finding the way of supply through times of resistance.

The war tunnel : You have to see this place to understand 1994's war. Because of the wall's impacts, this place is unforgetable : an immersion into the horrible everyday-life of brave soldiers and citizens. War tunnel's workers are helping tourists to understand all the difficulties they had to endure.

If you want to experience whatever the war was during the years of the siege of Sarajevo you should come here. This visit can show you that first of all, war was everyday life.

Not much to see if you were not in Sarajevo during war. It's a narrow, low sealing tunnel with not much to see, only if you have great fantasy and imagine how people went through it during war, shooting around etc. It's basically one of the rare fortification that survived the war and if you are in Sarajevo to see...
