It's now a museum

This place is no more. The building is still there but they are in progress of turning it into a museum. The new name is Sofia History Museum.

The new museum of Sofia in the place of the Old Mineral baths is a nice spot for tourist, right next to ancient Serdica ruins

The baths have been transformed into a museum. The only things that remain are a fountain and a few public bubbler with free drinkable water.

Very nice architecture, with great fountain at the entrance. Not so usual location, being so close to a mosque. Great place to relax in the adjacent small park.

The building stands out in Banski Square and it used to be the former Municipal Baths. Elegant style and architecture. Nowadays it hosts a permanent exhibition of the Sofia History Museum. Currently there is a very interesting museum of the history of Sofia. You can find out a lot of interesting information about city and see many exhibits associated with the city.

Great place to sit in the shadow in warm day and calm down. You can drink mineral water, but it is warm.

Very fresh moment after the rain has gone and sun came up before sunset. The former public bath is now a museum. It has great architecture and detailed interior. Must see spot in town.

The main bath building is closed, only attraction is the public taps to collect the mineral rich water. The building is beautifully constructed, with a park. Very warm mineral water freely flowing from several taps, locals collecting this water in plastic containers. Watch out before touch the water, some time it's very warm. I just taste the water, it's very... More
