We happened to visit on a day that 8000 people joined forces and marched past the ministerial buildings-very lively and noisy, but peaceful protest as there were lots of police keeping close control of the situation.

This building is conveniently located and should be viewed by travelers. Hopefully, as the years of democracy continue onward, this building will take on greater significance.

Located in the centre of the city this is another stunning building to take in on a tour. Pretty impressive and a fantastic inclusion in a sight seeing tour of the city. Worth a visit.

Sofia has many beautiful impressive buildings, all within easy walk of Vitosha Boulevard, and this is another of them. Well worth a visit.

A building in front of Tsar Liberator monument was designed in Neo-Renaissance style by a Serbian-Bulgarian architect Konstantin Jovanović, and built in 1884-1886 by Saxon Friederich Wilhelm Gustav Liebe.

they say guard shift changing is interesting but i didn't run into that. it is close to other sightseeing attractions.
