This is а typical neighbourhood built for the working class during communist rule in Bulgaria. There is nothing interesting to see if you are not interested in architecture or urbanism. Even if you are most of the buildings from this era are in poor condition....More

Go there for if you want to experience real socialism. The neighborhood is big enough and it's full with buildings from communist era. Reminds me of East Berlin.

Really nice aproach to the urbanism that the socialist block constructed over the decades. All the racionalism style is in it, big avenues with public transport, lot of green space between the buidings, parking places for the everyone´s car, all the flats have natural lightning...More

Just to share my experience for this neigbourhood it is terrible, full of gypsies and their poor families begging on the streets and nothing really to see of culture

Who the hell put this here! ?!? This is a typical residential area from communist times. If you are curious how these type of areas look like, you can go. Otherwise I cannot see anything interesting there

It is typical place where all people lived during the communism. Ugly and grey buildings without hope.

A neighborhood far from the center of Sofia, not safe at all, especially if you're a tourist or someone new there. Nothing to be seen there.

I'm confused as to why a residential area would be listed on things to do and see in Sofia. Especially a residential area that looks like this? I've lived in Sofia for 15 years and have only been to Nadezhda a coupe of times.

Ugley buildings from the socialist time, nothing to see, nothing to do, if you like to feel the spirit of the ex communist life style - this is the place!
