Former Communist Party House is actually the administration building for the Parliament now. The complex it dominates consists of the kind of buildings you can usually see in Moscow, a demonstration of Communist grandeur. For better or worse those are now symbols of our capital and a must see place for tourists.

It's just something big to walk past, the whole area is filled with large over bearing buildings so it doesn't look special in itself, worth a walk past but that's about it.

The Former Bulgarian Communist Party Headquarters is the typical communist building that you expect to find in a old-communist regime country. A nice place to take pictures

Sitting side by side with other important structures, this building reminds of its past and its present struggles when Bulgaria separated from the federation of communist states under Russian regime.

Whilst the ideology that built this building has lapsed, it still remains an impressive piece of work.

Located in the city center. it's impressive building and looks great in the evening with the lights on. There are nice restaurants near by and also more tourist attractions are walking distance from it.

This imposing building is one of three on a shared plaza. The other two built in a similar style are the Council of Ministers and the Presidency building. They were build in socialist times to rep represent the permanency and stability of socialist/communist rule

From an architectural point of view from the outside this building is large, solid, imposing and impressive. It is one part of a number of similar looking buildings in the centre of Sofia near the metro station Serdika. As far as I could tell you there was no tour available of the inside. So I would recommend this as part... More

It is a masterpiece!!! Special architecture, great work, large project. Although it is connected with black bulgarian days, it remains the best building in town!
