This museum has only recently started to present the inventions of Nikola Tesla, who was born in Croatia. Especially impressively planes that are exposed

I would certainly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Zagreb. The exhibits are well displayed and cover a good range of products. There is a very interesting and varied display of vehicles, aircraft, etc. in the large central hall.

You can see the history of engineering which is quite interesting. I was just passing by when someone told me "let's go and visit" during the open museum night in Zagreb. It was busy but pleasing.

It's in a big old barn of a building with a big open space in the centre. There are lots of machines of one kind or another, and a variety of aeroplanes, trams, and cars. The Tesla show is worthwhile but don't bother with the English film at the end as it doesn't really add much to what you can... More

So it's a bit old fashioned in places and freezing cold, but I still thought it was great. I'm not a fan of mechanical things, so this set of small displays was just right; enough to pique the interest without artifact overload. And it was well varied, centred on things pertinant to the area. The modern displays are often interactive... More

This museum is located a fair distance from the old town and most of the sights of Zagreb but its worth a visit if you are into the history of all things mechanical. Half of the ground floor was comprised of turbines, pumps and steam engines. The far end had mining exhibits and a small lab displaying the famous inventions... More

We visited the technical Museum on a Saturday (which is only open from nine till one) and found it to be full of exhibits from computers and dentist equipment, from bicycles to cars to flying machines. Whilst all the exhibits were labelled only a few of them had anything translated into English. Difficult if you don't speak Croatian. Upstairs there... More

Great place to visit in Zagreb :) The Tesla Cabinet was really nice and even if you're not visiting around the time of the guided tour, there's a nice video tour thing playing, so you still get a tour-ish experience. Many interesting exhibits from various scientific and twchnological fields - there's a lot to this place and you really shouldn't... More
