Full of life, main Square

I have been there for many times. The atmosphere is very festive during Christmas and many street food to try from the small wooden stalls.

This square is the other open market operating daily. Not everything is on the front level, you climb a few steps and another large area of vendors opens up, and back down the streets and side streets. what a lot to see. But this square is a great base point for shoppers. By the horseman.

Jelacic Square is the heart of Zagreb. We loved walking around the square and the whole area. When you visit Zagreb this is a must-see place. My family and I visited when the Christmas fair was on which gave a magical Christmas feel to the square and the whole city. Realy had a great time.

Zagreb has a few square with Jelacic Square has the most crowd. There is a concert during that day and lot of people. Must take the picture of iconic horse at the Jelacic Square.

average square with many tramways and connection to various streets of the down town. worth visiting in December, so you can see the decorations.

Went there to celebrate the new years eve. We've heard Zagreb was one of the best advent destinations in Europe and were not disappointed when we finally visited. Despite the low temperatures the Christmas markets had a lovely atmosphere and all the lights and ornaments were downright enchanting. Would recommend a visit.

You can't miss this since it's the main square and everything is there including the street car which you must ride from one end to another

I visited Zagreb in early December with Christmas festivities in high gear everywhere - there were free music conert stage set up in Jelacic Square along with Xmas markets. It's a nice place to spend a couple of hours, enjoy some window shopping and absorb the local atmosphere.

It was Xmas time so the place was filled with little stalls selling food and beer and wine and also it was very busy. Not so busy it was uncomfortable but good sized crowds. It is a nice space for this kind of festivities.

It's the best place day or night to sit and people watch and get real feel for the city. There's plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, shops all around. It's the heart of Zagreb and it's wonderful!!!
