Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of Croatia’s most visited attractions, drawing more than one million visitors annually. Because of its popularity, it can be a challenge for travelers to navigate crowds and make the most of their time spent there. On this tour, save time and energy by letting let a guide and driver take care of logistics. Pack in a village visit. hike, and more in one full day.

Beaut and large old cemetery that's lovely to stroll around in the early weekday mornings when no one else is really there. The parking out front near Srebrnjak is adequate for normal days, but not for holidays like All Saints Day. To the reviewer a few down who was wondering why anyone would rate a cemetery on TA, uh...why did you rate Mirogoj? Moreso, though, cemeteries mean different things to different people, and visitors can get a feel for the history of a place, and the current atmosphere of a place (and the locals) by visiting cemeteries. At least I feel that way.

It’s not just a cemetery. Its old central part is full of beautiful sculptures made by Croatian famous artists. There is a brochure you can get or take a walking tour. It’s worth visiting, specially in autumn with red leaves on the arcades.
