I love museums of modern/contemporary art. They are often entertaining, provoking, innovative and humorous – often at the same time. This museum, located in a large, moder and stylish building should be able to engage. Sadly, it doesn't. Here is vast opportunities for improvement, engaging the audience in a render-vous with the Croatian art scene.

We took tram 6 to the end of the line; no signage for art museum.
Much small (art?) displays and lots of empty walls.
Trughed around for about a 1/2 hour; uninspired.
The graffiti around the train station was better (and free) than the 10 bucks or so to witness dismal.

The permanent exhibition is closed. I went there today (30 min tram ride from city centre) and upon arrival the attendant informed us that it was not possible to visit the permanent collection, that it would be closed for the next year and that there was a « video » exhibition we could visit (which we did not). Very disappointing…

I love contemporary art and like bed this museum! Three floors filled with great art, and a temporary exhibit as well. It was free admission since I went on the first Wednesday of the month. Easy to get to by tram from city center. Great day spent here

This was a great addition to our trip to Zagreb. We took a tram out of the city to the cavernous Museum of Contemporary Art. It was worth it. The art was intriguing, beautiful. And the collection is large so you can spend a lot of time there. Plus when you're done, you can exit via the very cool slide (I'll attach a photo), get a cappuccino, and then head for the mall across the street for lunch (pic also attached).

Great modern art museum, worth visiting if you have a couple of hours to spare. Interesting exhibitions in a very cool space. Unfortunately it seems very under-visited - perhaps because it is on the outskirts of the main city, we saw less than 10 people in the whole building! No 6 tram to Sopot stopped nearby but check where the tramstop is for your journey back to the city as its a bit awkward to find.

This was a wonderful modern art museum, and I'm quite disappointed I didn't have time to explore it in its entirety. There's a lot to see, so make sure to go with at least a couple of hours. You can easily take the 14 tram and they offer student tickets, even for foreigners (15 kuna). You can even leave the museum by slide... super fun!

This museum is easily accessible on the 14 tram which stops right outside the door(The Stop is ' MSU')or by no. 6 tram( but you have to walk a little from that stop!).An amazing building, only recently opened - with the most incredible selection of Contemporary Art - some 'fun' and some 'poignant'.
I would thoroughly recommend a visit - the shop has some really whacky ideas for gifts & memorabilia and there is a great restaurant /café run by such friendly people (as is the museum itself.)
It was one of the highlights of our trip to Zagreb.

The museum had some interesting pieces but I felt like I was missing some information about the artists and pieces.
