We wandered around Lower Town for a couple of hours on a Sunday, when many stores and tourist attractions are closed. It was still well-worth it. The big public market was open for business, and we prowled through the stalls, stopping to buy some almonds...More

Spent the afternoon here before driving to Plitvice. There was a fantastic open air market going on all day long. Great vendors and fresh, handmade products.

A bustling, open air market area with lots of activity and sights to see. Thoroughly enjoyed the scene in spite of inclement weather.

I am proper torn as to whether I prefer the upper or lower town In Zagreb, both have so much to offer. But, if I was forced to choose it would be the lower town. I just loved all the squares, parks, shops, coffee shops,...More
