The museum is located in one of the most beautiful buildings of the city. The museum is built in oriental style and opened in the late 19th century. Very interesting and rich are the zoological, archaeological, ethnographic collections. The museum will be very interesting for children, as well as for those who want to learn about this beautiful country.

Even if it's not a "spectacular" museum, it's a place that I would recommend because it's very well kept, very clean and attractions are grouped by room, very well organized. Unfortunately, there's no legends in english but we can understand most of it.

Admiring one of the buildings of architect Bernardazzi, you fund out by accident there is an Ethnigraphic museum. At first a quite typical exhibition of folk clothes and agricultural utensils, animals, butterflies etc. Reach the lower floors for the real surprise in the prehistoric session. I say no more

Not that bad that collection, a must see on the city ! I like the recreation of a WWII battle and many elements from the collection.

The ladies in this museum are really helpful although they speak hardly any English. There are costumes, pots, photographs and lots of bones, some are apparently quite rare, all really nicely arranged. Helps you get a flavour of Moldova. Enjoyed this much more than the History Museum.

Extremely cheap tickets (even with the fotography fee). Nice display or different earth ages and taxidermy. Plenty of traditional costumes on display.
