Bragadiru Palace is a hidden gem of Bucharest. Built around 1900, was a venue where the Romanian high society used to party and get together for social events,
Beautiful architectural building still preserves the somptuos decorations of the time. Nowadays it’s hosting couple of good restaurants and it’s still a beautiful venue for cultural and social events. If you want to visit, try to get there for a concert. The atmosphere will be special.

1900 entertainment venue for gala dinners, dances and other functions - we had a conference dinner here. The catering was really inferior and the staff barely okay; the space in itself very good (except the chairs), and a quite nice outside space for the warmer months as well. You will probably not book this place yourself or wander in there by accident, but if you're invited to something, it'll be nice - except the food.

Great building, sumptuously decorated, built for the rich businessman Dumitru Marinescu-Bragadiru, part of a pile which housed a big beer brewery, workers’ houses, owner’s house and this palace intended to be a place dedicated to workers’ relaxation, comprising a ballroom, salons, library, offices etc. It was built 1894-95 by the Austrian architect Anton Schuckerle in an eclectic style. The building has a nice terrace and a nice garden. It is used mainly for special events. The visitor can appreciate the old Bucharest’s style; the ruins of the megalomaniac Ceaușescu’s buildings, just across the street, remember the huge losses the town suffered during the last half of the 20th century.

I had the occasion to work in this place, and believe me, I never had, in 10 years of work around Europe, such a bad experience with a team. They haven't got any interes in working for people, any passion and they are there just to take advantage from people. Bucharest is full of event places that are much better than this, better if you stay away from Palatu Bragadiru

Been here in December for a big Christmas party. The place is great having a big open space room with adjacent smaller rooms for the bar and the buffet if you are going with a theeme that is not a la carte serving.
There is also a stage with good space for a band to entrtain you,or host a show of some sort.
There is room also above this open space facility for other activities that involve smaller crowds like foto booths or minigolf lanes..something that will get you up on your feet:)

I was invited to a wedding here, but it was amazing. The room inside does not so impressive for me, but the garden outside was magical or probably where she was lighted and organized with flowers and balloons.

The building itself is very nice
it has also a nice garden
we were a large group having a cocktail and everything was OK
the areas for self-service were organized good and not very crowded
the waiters were nice and fast
when you get to the place across the street is an another great building that is abandoned and in a very bad shape... not a pretty view

I dicovered during my business trip to Bucharest a unique variete production inspired by the shows that keep the headliner on stages in cities like London, Paris, Vienna and Berlin. The show was performed by talented artists. Gran Variete Bellucci is a fascinating, complete sound, light and color, a surprising presentation, defined by talent and originality. If you will ever visit Bucharest don't miss it !

Went here for a party given by a big international company. The Palace is amazing, huge, beautiful, perfect for such an event. There are, unfortunately, some drawbacks(as usual). The place, though central, is actually difficult to reach and has so to say...strange and somewhat dangerous surroundings. Some buildings in ruin , otherwise pitoresque, make the way to the main street or even to a taxi quite ..difficult.I , personally, had a bad experience with a pack of stray dogs. Fortunately, they resumed quickly their attack, satisfied, perhaps, just with the taste of my purse (which I used as a shield).:D

Hello! Is it possible to visit this palace? Is it open to public? Or only accessible through a specific event?
