It was crowded but nice when we visited Antipa Museum. All the frames were almost real. It was fun for the children as they could recognize all the animals, planets and different fossilis. Very good for spending few hours with family.

The Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History is one of the most nicest and modern museums that was recently renovated and even hosted a limited time event called "The Human Body" which had more than 200 real human bodies with three-dimensional view.

Here you have a great chance to learn about the diverse fauna around the world and Romania. It is interactive, equiped with a lot of multimedia tools. You need at least 2 hours to visit properly the entire museum.

There is no need for any identity to be shown for entry, but it is wise as a tourist to carry your passport or ID with you. I don't carry one myself as an expat, but better to be safe than sorry if a visitor.
