This museum was refurbished between 2009 and 2010 and is nowadays one of the best natural history museums in Europe. I myself am a sea life lover and I was extremely excited to discover a whole floor which is dedicated to this area and features examples of whales, dolphins and seals. Also, I was very impressed with the 4.50 m.... More

Even though it's smaller than other such museums, it is a very good activity to spend a snowy morning or afternoon in Bucharest. Children will probably love it. The animal and natural habitat dioramas are very well made and there's a lot of information on Romanian ecosystems. Liked the embryos displays, it's good to see how similiar our early intrauterine... Really the best museum in Romania! I went with my children there and there is a lot of education to gain from the visit. Museum is also hitech, you can scan QR codes and get much info about the exhibits. I would recommend going on line before scheduling a visit to find out of the different seasonal exhibitions that are... More

Newly renovated, Grigore Antipa museum is something that you should visit being in Bucharest. If you are with your child or nephew, it is the best choice to make him/her happy. Located in Victoriei square, close to our government building, Antipa museum is at easy access, in a nice area of Bucharest.

Wow! I am really glad that they modernized the museum. It is a great place to spend an afternoon with the family, especially if you have young kids. My 4 year old daughter was impressed and the whole visit was a discovery after another. Also it was really nice to be able to explain to her where you can find... More

Antipa Museum is one of the places I've visited during my stay in Bucharest. It's situated in a lovely part of the town and it's only 20 mintues, on the foot, away from Gara de Nord train station. It takes around 1 hour to visit the whole musem, at least in my case. Enterance for a student is only 5lei!
