We saw that this museum rated highly with fellow Trip Advisors, so we thought we'd give it a go. What a disappointment! The lady in the ticket booth was nothing short of rude - a great start! The paths were so slippery, and as you walked up to the houses, you realised that they were all locked so you couldn't... More

All the houses were closed so nothing special to see. Interesting place and you have the opportunity to have a taste of different regions of the country.

It's just up by a beautiful Park anyway, so you might as well head to this museum whilst there. Entry was 50p for a student (they didn't check my student ID). It's a nicely laid out village, probably a lot livelier in the summer. Empty in winter, but beautiful with snow

If you feel the need to be at peace and find your inner silence..a stroll in the village museum is exactly what you need. Don't hesitate and please while admiring do not touch the very old pieces as I've seen some children, so also kindly supervise your toddlers. Have a pleasant walk! :)

This outdoor museum houses an exibition of traditional houses from many time periods and from various places. It's located in the Herastrau Park and is a great spot for artist & culture enthusiasts.

The guide was a really mean guy, he was making inappropriate comments and he rushed us around without telling us much about the houses or the things we could see. He was in his 50 and he was smoking and blowing the smoke towards us. It was a shame. Will never recommend or visit again.
