Herastrau Park is amazing, you can see a lot of roses, interesting statues, beautiful swans and a lot of fish in the water. It is a great way to relax on the weekend.

This park is a real gem and very convenient for the centre of the city. You can walk for miles, take a boat trip or just chill. You could spend most of a day here. There are bikes available to hire.

Absolutely beautiful park with lots to do! The park and lake span a number of kilometres with many tracks and paths to walk. Along with monuments there's an area of the lake whereby turtles, ducks, peacocks, swans and fish are kept which you can see...More

If driving to the park, it takes some time to find parking. The park is 6km and beautiful to walk, however, if you go early in the morning none of the restaurants open till late morning, so be prepared with a water or snack.

So this was a really lovely park and well worth a visit, we got to it via the hop in and off bus and found it a real delight. Very well maintained and a few interesting statues.

Enjoyed our time strolling around the park in the sunshine. Some of the statues were very good...some ok...some in need of restoration. Areas of the park seem to be either very well manicured or overgrown and although I appreciate parts are left for wildlife I...More

Nice park close to city and covers the river front. The park has good bars and restaurant like Hard rock cafe. There are boat rides and city tours to view city from the river. Family-friendly and kids play area for fun.

Great park, very big with lots of nice places to be. During our visit there was a festival for families and a food truck fesival so it was quite busy but still not overcrowded. Only minor points for us were the loud music from the...More

It depends on the time of the year. In summer, there are several restaurants with very nice terraces at the lake, or just terrases. I can reccomend Il Locale, Funky Club, Nuba, Biutiful. If winter, you can try La Brasserie... More

If you enter by the Arch, you are not very far from the Elisabeta Palace - by the way, this palace is inhabited currently by the former king Mihai I and is not for public visiting any more, as far as I know, but I might be... More
