We go in this parc every month. It is one of the most tranquil parks in the city. It is small and offers you the feeling of intimacy. It is better to go there after sunset since it is not crowded and you can take...More

While it's not as big or as stunning as Cismigiu or Herastrau, Carol Park is still a fantastic visit. It's scenic from the entrance at Piata Libertatii as well as from up top at the war memorial.

A massive war memorial with an eternal flame and the steps leading to it are features of this park. These steps (96 of them) are used to run up and down by people in training. Walking up once was enough for me. The park also...More

It is my favorite place for running in the morning. It is clean and full of flowers and green. You have to chance to visit Dimitrie Leonida Museum - history technical experiments.

Stumbled across this park when we hired bikes. The memorial is spectacular and has an eternal flame that must be viewed in the later afternoon/early evening. Great views.

I've been here several times and I do come each time I have the occasion. Plenty of trees, nice small lake and the perfect location for outdoor sports such as jogging, yoga, biking or even rollers. Enough space for children to play and an interesting...More
