Beautiful River.....Nice place to visit in Belgrade....very beautiful area of Belgrade. There is a new modern bridge built to cross the Danube and it is very special. The Danube is a very special European river!

The second best way to see the river is from the Belgrade fortress awesome piccies to be had, from the victor monument. At the convergence of the two rivers (danube and sava). Obviously the first is by boat.

The position of Belgrade at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers is both strategic and attractive. When we were there the water was very high due to mountain snow melt in the Alps (I think) and recent rains.

is there anything to add to this great European river, Belgrade is happy to have be among the chosen cities on its route. It's great from the fortress, from Zemun, even from new Belgrade and Visnjica. Hard to have enough of Danube in Belgrade.

Belgrade's privileged location is due to its main river, the Danube. In this, it shares the views and the flavor the river gives to some of Europe's top cities (Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, etc.). In addition, in Belgrade, the Danube joins its waters with the Sava,...More
