Simply majestic!

It was undergoing renovations when we went, so we couldn't visit inside. It's exterior is quite impressive especially at night.

Would have liked to take a peak inside but it looked like the site was closed for renovations. Exterior is a nice place to walk about to see street merchants:-) worth the détour to soak up more sights and scenes.

cozy historical pedestrian street, admired by anyone who've been there once! One could spend there the whole day and it is the best place to look for a place to stay))

workers were doing their best on Rastrelli's beautiful gem in Estern Rococo style. IT will take another year or two to get finished. In the meantime, walking around it is a nice experience.

You can't help noticing it from a way off, it's strikingly beautiful. There is a little market selling Ukrainian/ soviet memorabilia which was lovely. But church was having some exterior construction work, so I didn't see the interior.

The church from the outside is beautiful and in the beginning of the art district. It has been under repairs for the winter so hopefully it will be open in the spring/summer 2017.

Very beautiful. If your orthodox or interested in history, a great place to visit. The art work is beautiful.

Like all other Kiev religious landmarks, just great in every way inside and out. Don't expect to join in any services, just admire the architecture and the artworks.

Short advice - start from the top, it's always easier to walk down. :) It's a nice street with lots of souvenirs to buy, some small, but interesting museums and even some restaurants. Definately a place to visit, if you are in Kyiv.

Seemed to me good looking but I wanted to see it from inside which was not available at the time I was there due to renovating
