One of my favorite churches in Kiev, the color is absolutely gorgeous! And it's on a hill, so if you follow the St. Andrew`s decent down, then you can look up at it in all its glory.

Beautiful church visible from everywhere in town due to its location on top of the hill. It is a relaxing walk where you can enjoy the lively streets full of sellers, small shops and bistros, not sure if only on Sundays (?) Once on top...More

Located on a small hill overlooking the old parts of Kiev. Renovation has just been finished. Lots of stalls outside selling all kinds of souvenirs.

Unlike many of Kiev's major churches, it is a small one, but truly beautiful. Located at the top of the artisan Andriivsky Uzviz, this church was designed by Rastrelli, who was also the author of the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. It is really worth...More

In one word it is a wonderful church but in many it is an awesome structure which offers a nice view of Dnieper river and the Podil district. It is located on a touristy area of Kyiv but be sure to arrive from the right...More

Be sure to visit it on Saturday, Sunday or other holiday. There are a lot of paintings and other pieces of art. Be sure to bargain and ask for some documents to present to customs, if it is a notable piece of art. The document...More

It was in August, but not sure about it now. Check out the Bulgakov museum while there and enjoy the art work along the walk...
