Great area to walk around and relax. The building itself is at the top of the hill and like all other cathedrals in the city is immaculately presented. The street is fairly steep but enjoyable to walk up and down. The stalls selling all sorts...More

There are several places to go in Kyiv. This is one of them. You can go there by using metro and take off at Kontraktova station. It's a long steep road. It is good to be steep because you are walking very slowly and this...More

Very quiet relaxed place, interesting things for selling, museum for watching and of course church, and restaurants and caffees for eating.

It's a lovely place where you can buy a lot of Ukrainian souvenirs. There is a lot of restaurants and coffee shops along the way. The scenery is also nice.

Church looks great on the outside, worth walking to see the lanes and surrounding area but can't visit the church itself

Major tourist attraction in Kiev. Picturesque street leading down from upper old historic district to lower part of town with lots of souvenir stalls and painters. Plenty of cafes and restaurants abound including the Lviv Handmade Chocolate cafe.

It was mostly just a bunch of crafts-y street vendors. But a nice street, and there was nothing wrong with it - just not all that special.

On a sweaty day, after long walks and climbing on the winding street of Andriyivski's descent, we finally glimpsed the Andriyivski Uzviz. Originally, we wanted to go up with the funicular, but our usual bad luck did not leave us. The funicular did not work....More

Unfortunately the cathedral was under renovation, so access inside the building was not possible. The Uzviz itself is attractive although very many shops are closed and "for rent" signs are displayed everywhere. There are a few cafes open but for the most part this is...More

Due to stability problems, it's impossible to visit this beauty. The neighbourhood around is touristy but charming.
