Yet petty to see half of the hall empty; that was the anniversary of the Orchestra Director (also performs as a Conductor), 70 years old; priests came and gave him some award, but escaped immediately after completing their mission just after first 15 min. Otherwise, it was great selection of music played brightly and vividly. Thank you, long live!

Perfect located close to Miadan Square, National Philharmonic offers not just music to enjoy. The Building is a brilliant star among old concert houses in the world. We enjoyed a fantastic concert celebrating Carl Nielsen's 150th anniversary. Highly recommendable.

The National Philharmonic never stops to amaze me, including with the variety of their repertoire. There’s a different performance every night, so if you are in Kyiv for a few days, you can choose whatever you are up to - something «light», even entertaining like popular classics or folk music, or «serious» symphonic or chamber music. Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No... More

Visited here with my Ukrainian wife and had a wonderful time listening to music from popular Ukrainian/Russian and Disney cartoons. The musical performance was amazing. The seating plan is a bit of a disappointment as all the chairs are lower than the stage but on the same level as each other. Seats are limited as the room is fairly small... More

The quality of the performances is at the highest level - always a great experience. The seating area could be more comfortable.

This was a chamber orchestra concert with a lovely programme, including Vivaldi and Mendelsohn. The concert hall is very small by England standards but is charming.

For a classical music lover this place is a gem. Paid less than 5£ for one premium ticket. The quality of the music was high, good acoustic in the hall and vigorous effort from the conductor. Only sad thing when I was there was the fact of the low attendance, with more people on the scene than in the audience.

A visit to the National Philharmonic house of Ukraine is a treat to melomaniacs like myself. At a petty price you can enjoy variety of decent, and even world-class performance of chamber and symphonic music, concert adoption of operas, solos as well as festivals and many more. Sadly, due to the latest escalation of unrest in the area, all concerts... More

At an incredible £7 we had a very good evening of quality music with a good range of both solo performance and orchestral works, quite a nice hall but the interval was a bit rushed

Never been to a classical music concert before. Music was brilliant, venue lovely & 9th row tickets for £7.50. This is a must see
