This is a very interesting house which is actually a concert hall for up to 200 people. It was built between 1898 and 1902 in a Moorish style. It used to be a synagogue for the Karaite people.

Well worth a 5 minute stroll from Golden gate to see this impressive building. The external features are certainly a bit different. Take your camera. Outside the building is a quirky little "statue" with a hat that serves as an advertising board for what's on....More

Sorry, it is not Actor's House on this picutre. It is just a private appartment :(( Actor's House is former Kenesa temple, designed by Horodetsky. During bolshevik's regime it has changed not only the owner (state), but the purpose - it has no more sacral...More

I really love the building - all the details and decorations, it is very different from House with Chimeras but you still feel the same hand of the architect )) The show wasn't that great, unfortunately
