This obelisk symbolises victory for the WWII Soviet soldiers who fought against the Nazis. The eternal fire under the obelisk shall NEVER EXTINGUISH! You can also see the whole eastern part of the city which taking a look on the left, then you can also find Rodina Mat if you keep on going south east. The nearest metro station? Arsenalna.

On your way to the Rodian Mat and Kiev Pechersk Lavra, you will see the entrance to this park. Do follow the hedges that lead you to this monument. It is a nice stroll, and a great view. It will also lead you to the Holodomor Memorial/Museum. Right before you get to the Eternal Glory Park, you will have to... More

This Bar located at the glory park, designed and decorated simple and pretty. A flare make it nicer and we respect to all people who lost their lives at the world wars.

The park is close to the Arsenalna metro station. There are a lot of things to see, mostly monuments dedicated to the victims of war. Also, the Holodomor memorial can be found here. In spite of that, everyone was enjoying themselves and relaxing, so it is a good place to see what the locals like to do. If you're a... More

Parts are memory to WWII and others to Holodomor (the artificial famine created by the Soviets that killed millions of innocent civilians to force them to accept Socialism and renounce individual dedication to their own farms). Moving, touching, emotional. If you don't shed tears here, you are not human. Crude, clear and indisputable reminder of what 'social planning' (Socialism) produces... More

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Monument to the Holodomor (famine) are situated in this park which commands great views of the Dneipr River. We stopped through it on our way to the Caves Monastery from the Arsenali metro station.

Huge historical Soviet Obelisk commemorating fallen soldiers. It is an awesome sight in the middle of a pretty park .. near the Lavra. Definitely worth a visit.
