If you are in Kiev, you can not miss this place! The cost of the visit is around 3 American dollars (80grv) and you can visit the whole attraction, the church, the rectory and the bell tower....this last, has a very nice view of the surroundings. Please please, some part of the museum DO NOT ALLOW PICTURES....DO NOT ACT LIKE... More

Went on up into the bell tower for less than £1 and saw the panoramic view of this wonderful city! Well worth a trip to see

This is probably the main attraction in Kiev. A very old church which did not suffer damage during soviet times.

It's hard not to be in awe of this beautiful cathedral . From the magnificent exterior to the beauty of the interior it is well worth a visit

Watch out for the annoying men trying to place birds on you outside! V annoying and had to threaten one to leave me alone! St sophias is beautiful and just 25p to walk round the grounds.

This church is just amazing, once inside you are back 1000 years in time. The history behind this church makes you love Ukrainian culture...

The oldest existing and functioning cathedral of Kiev Rus dated 9th century, residence of Prince Yaroslav the wise. Also to visit bell tower with panoramic view to one of the main squares of Kiev and Bogdan Khmelnitsky monument.

What an amazing experience..one can see the artistry that has gone into the cathedral...the entrance price is a bagatelle...I went in for free , .but hey...still left hryvnia as I left..a must...
