This is one of the top tourist attractions in El Salvador.
Located in the biological corridor call Apaneca-Ilamatepec, Santa Ana volcano is considered one of the jewels of Central America.
If you are looking for the best things to do , We have designed this tour for you.
The walk takes approximately 2 hours to climb and another 2 hours to descend, this can vary according to the physical condition of the people. On top of the volcano you can see one of the best craters worldwide with an emerald green lagoon,

At the end of the adventure we drive to Coatepeque lake for a relaxing time and have lunch.
The tour is fantastic for nature lovers or adventurers.

El Salvador has been known for its excellence in the production of coffee beans, later known in the newspapers for its horrific civil war, now also positions itself in the art world! The museum has a lot of artwork but unfortunately, all the descriptions are available only in Spanish. The souvenir shop is very small and we did not find any interpretations of the paintings such as postcards or magnets.

How one likes art is personal, and this place didn't do much for me. There is no English which makes it hard for non-Spanish speakers to follow. $1.50 entrance fee. An hour or less will do it. Some of the pieces are not displayed or lit well. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.

Nice, small art museum with rotating exhibits (mostly modern it seems) and a small permanent collection downstairs. The modern collection has some odd items. The museum was free when we went but I wouldn’t mind paying a small fee so they could repair the outside tile mural and maintain the grounds and perhaps expand. You need no more than an hour to visit.

Stonebriar mall is an excellent place to shop. There is a variety of stores for everyone's taste. My family came to visit and enjoyed shopping everytime that I would take them.

The museum has a restaurant that you may want to try. Different ambiance than the typical restaurant in the area. Quiet and well appointed, great service, good for dinning or for a sit down coffee.
