One of my favorite natural places to go. Very close to the city center, awesome views, good street food. I just enjoy it! Also, you can climb any of the 3 mountains (?) and have a better view of the valley. If it's a busy day, beware of the parking lot and the crowd.

30minute-ish walk to a beautiful view. Definitely worth a trip to the Puerta del Diablo. Tips: - Plan to also visit a pupuseria in Los Planes De Renderos as they have some of the best in the country. - Also, 15 minutes down the road is a super cute city named Panchimalco that you may want to add to your... My family made the trek up Puerta Del Diablo. My kids age 5 and 8 made it up no problem. The stairs were easy for them to navigate. I got a little tired but I'm also not the most physically active person. The views were amazing! It was extremely windy when we got to the top. We had to sit... More

This is an amazing place to visit in El Salvador! Eat some pupusas before going up to the Devil's door to get some energy for the hike! If you wanted to you could also do two zipwires across from one rock to another or Rappelling as well.

We took the bus from the historic centre and within 30 mins and at a cost of 35 cents we were at the site. There are quite a few little walks to get you to the viewing sites, where you can see the Pacific Ocean on one side and the city of San Salvador, lots of volcanoes and Lake Ilopango... More

Very near the city of San Salvador is the famous Puerta del Diablo where you'll go to experience a great view when you climb it up to the highest point. Legend has it that in times of settlers , the daughter of landowners Plans Renderos , was courted by the Prince of Darkness himself , since she was very beautiful... More
