Our driver took us through on a tour and the place is like an amusement park with lots of restaurants and snack places. Along the waterfront and you pay to drive in. I guess families would like it and the locals too.

Great people watching and definitely a nice place to walk around in Managua - restaurants aren't the best but go for the people watching and make sure to check out the mini replica city next door!

Salvador Allende by Managua Lake is a nice stroll for the family. You can walk by the lake with a nice breeze and get your kids an ice cream. Then you can dinner with all the family.
