I want to thank tripadvisor for having Reprosa listed as a great place to visit. As they don't pay commission to any hotels, it is not well advertised and I would not have known that this place even existed. The tour is fascinating. You really get to see the entire operation of a real working jewelry factory. Evette was very... More

Well worth the visit. A fascinating insight into the lost wax casting method. The tour takes you in real time looking down into the factory where you can see the workers doing each step in the process. There are many beautiful items to buy, but there is no pressure to purchase anything. We had a hard time finding a taxi... More

the reviews are spot on. what they neglect to inform you of is the spectacular service provided. what I am referring to is what they did for us above and beyond the norm. beyond that, the tour was terrific. even our dopey 17 and 14 yr old boys were intrigued and paid attention. the gifts for sale are numerous and... We had a nice afternoon at Reprosa learning the art of lost wax casting. We were greeted with a glass of fresh juice, watched a short film and then took a very informative tour right in/above where employees were actually working on different processes of making jewelry. Our son got to sandblast a piece of jewelry as well. Tour ended... More

I highly recommend the Reprosa tour! It gives you an appreciation of all the work that goes into making one small or not so small huaca! It was interactive, informative and fun. They offer them Monday through Friday at 9AM and 2 PM. You are greeted with a delicious fruit drink, while you wait for the tour to begin, and... More

We were met by Monica at the cruise terminal and taken to the factory with a running commentary on the way. The factory is state-of-the-art and Monica described all the processes in great detail. We had refreshments and then admired the wonderful goodies in the showroom. Birthdays taken care of for a while now! Very reasonable prices but $10 each... More

The tour was fascinating. Igua, the tour guide was great and very nice, Monica was super, I can recommend it to everybody visiting Panama. The cost was worth every cent, as these people made a sizable investment to receive visitors to their facility. Roy Maduro

The Reprosa factory is amazing. Getting to see how pre-columbian art/jewelry was created years ago is really neat. There is a video to watch at the beginning to give you a little bit about the history, then you take a tour of the factory and get to see the whole process. I think that it so cool how they make... The reviews thus far have gone into excellent and great detail about the working process of the factory and what to expect on the tour, so I will not repeat except to say that it was one of the best stops we made while in Panama. The staff was very warm and welcoming even though we did not come at... More

Staff treated us like royalty as they educated us about the discovery of the artifacts; the beginnings of Reprosa making replicas for museums; and the process for making the replicas. The factory tour was so educational with some "hands on" experiences and then great shopping.
