On February 4, 2017, we had a private tour for six. Enjoyed the Gatun Locks, the Fort San Lorenzo and the rain forest. Well worth the price to have a private tour versus being bused with 50 people and only seeing one sight. Thank you Mario it was a great day.

we hired Mario to give us a private tour for 6, but one couple had to drop out due to illness. Thus we ended up with a private tour for 4. Our guide Alex was the most knowledgeable guide -- he told us all about Panama, the history of the canal, the rainforest and the fort we visited. We got... More

To be fair, Mario is a nice guy but it was a holiday and he outsourced us to a guy that didn't know where he was going and was all too happy to hit the beer in his trunk cooler at our first stop. We booked Mario for transport from Hotel. That went well. The next day we were booked... More

To be fair, Almiza tour is a company with 23 years and 10 professional guides including Ivan. In some tours, We bring cooler with water, pops and beer for our clients not for the guides. The clients booked: 1. Airport Transfer; 2. Embera Village Tour; 3. Panama Canal Partial transit The Canal transit schedule is full controling by Panama Canal... More

Our two families (7 people) spent two full days with Mario. We all highly recommend him! He was very knowledgeable, kind, and made our two days fun! Based on our questions and interests he tailored our tours - he went out of his way to accommodate us! We felt like we learned so much about the culture, geography and history... More

Arranged with Mario to be picked up at hotel in Panama City he then dropped us off at the Panama Railway to ride the train to Colon. He took care of our luggage so had a stress free travel to Colon. He was there when we got to Colon. Tour of the Rainforest and he was able to spot the... More

I went on 2 tours with My Friend Mario: The Panama Canal & El Valle Anton, that I booked through Viator. They were extremely knowledgable, fun, funny, accommodating, and communicative. The ride/van was smooth, comfy, and wonderfully air conditioned. I really, really enjoyed this company, and would ABSOLUTELY recommend them + go o another trip with them.

We visited Colon on Celebrity Infinity. There isn't much to do in Colon, but we found this tour. They communicated with us from the beginning and sent clear instructions on where to meet. We chose the private tour for four people as it wasn't much more expensive. Mario met us at the arranged time and place. He is very pleasant... More

Had a great private tour with our tour guide Daniel, who met us at Colon as agreed by email, following our cruise. He was so knowledgable on everything about Panama. Following a drive through the rain forest, we had a boat trip on Gatun Lake and saw the various monkeys in their natural habitat. We then proceeded to the Panama... More

This tour was well organised and Daniel was fantastic. His English was perfect and he knew all the interesting stuff to see and do. The canal was good and we saw and fed some monkeys. He was also flexible to drop us off at our hotel and do an airport run the next day. They were on time and we... More

Our ship was supposed to dock at 7 a.m. and instead came in at 9! Our flight out was at noon and getting luggage was a challenge as it had to be off-loaded and sniffed by the bomb dogs. Mario's driver stood by, helped us grab our bags and got us through gate security to our van without missing a... More
