Tuvalu does not offer an abundance of things to see and do but there is something special about its philatelic bureau. Managed by some very friendly ladies it showcases the wide range and staggering diversity of Tuvalu stamps. They make for a great souvenir too!

There is a large table displaying hundreds of colorful stamp sets and sheets sold over the years, all going for face value, which is nice. Oddly, you can't use ANY of those stamps to send a postcard, you can only use the current definitive stamps...More

The employees said they were in the process of moving.. I'm not sure if they were moving to somewhere or moving into the building they were in.. however, they were friendly and polite and eager to show me their favourite collections.
